What Is SuperSampling?

- Nov 09, 2018-

SuperSampling is a technique used in CD players to improve playback quality. After the data signal on the CD chip is read out, the standard sampling rate of 44.1 kHz is doubled to several times by the interpolation processing of the DSP circuit, which is SuperSampling. Why do you want to SuperSampling? This involves noise filtering after D/A conversion. After the D/A conversion of the digital signal, a mirror band is generated at the high end of the audio band. This is a kind of noise, which must be filtered out by a low-pass filter; otherwise it will be folded back into the audio band after passing through the nonlinear device, causing great damage to the playback effect.
