The gain range is from 20 decibels to 60 decibels. It is worth noting that too high a gain will overload the channel load, resulting in distortion of the sound; too low background noise, and may not be able to obtain enough signal levels to provide a mix output. Turn the gain small when using a high level input. The gain knob is used as the gateway for the sound input mixer.
