What's the Difference Between A Home Theater Stereo and A KTV Stereo?

- Apr 02, 2019-

1. The division of labor between the two is different.

At present, many users choose the standard 5.1 channel system when setting up a home theater. Including five speakers and a subwoofer, the five speakers are clearly divided into left front, center, right front and a pair of surrounds. To a certain extent, home theater speakers pursue a high degree of sound quality reduction, and even small sounds can be restored to a large extent, allowing viewers to feel at home.

KTV audio mainly represents the high-pitched bass of the vocal, and there is no clear division of labor in the home theater. In addition to the high, medium and low performance of the sound, the karaoke speaker is mainly reflected in the bearing capacity of the sound. The diaphragm of the karaoke speaker can withstand the impact of high sound without damage.

2. The two amplifiers are different.

Home theater amplifiers support a variety of channels, can solve a variety of surround effects such as 5.1, 7.1, 9.1, and a variety of power amplifier interfaces, in addition to the ordinary speaker terminals, also support fiber and coaxial interfaces, can greatly improve the sound quality.

The interface of the KTV amplifier is usually only the ordinary speaker terminal block and the red and white audio interface, which is relatively simple. Generally speaking, only the power amplifier has enough power when singing, and there is no requirement for the KTV power amplifier decoding format. KTV amplifiers can adjust the mid-high and low sounds as well as reverb and delay effects for better singing performance.

3. The carrying capacity of the two is different.

When singing, many people will habitually smash out when they encounter high-pitched parts. At this time, the diaphragm of the speaker will accelerate the vibration, which is a test of the carrying capacity of the speaker. Although home theater speakers and amplifiers can also sing, it is easy to shatter the paper cones of the speakers, and the maintenance of the paper cones is not only troublesome and expensive. Relatively speaking, the diaphragm of the KTV speaker can withstand the impact of high-pitched sound and is not easily damaged.
