What Is Variable Speed Processing?

- Jun 20, 2018-

Variable speed processing, also known as audio time compression, expansion of self-care, is a change in tape playback speed without changing the tone of the sound processing, and more for professional use. It is possible to appropriately lengthen or shorten the playing time of various recorded program tapes without changing the timbre and tone of the original sound, which provides an important means for synchronously playing the programs in real time. Adjusting the speed of the sound by changing the number of revolutions of the motor and changing the playing time, but because the tape running speed will inevitably make the sound pitch higher or lower, the signal frequency conversion circuit is provided in the variable speed processing system and will be changed due to the speed which recovery the monotonous changes in sound.
