What Is the Power of the Speaker?

- Jul 18, 2018-

The power of the speaker is divided into rated power, minimum power, maximum power and instantaneous power, and the unit is W.

Rated power, also known as nominal power, refers to the average input power of the speaker that operates normally for a long time without significant distortion.

The minimum power, also called the starting power, is the reference electrical power value at which the speaker can be pushed.

The maximum power, also called the maximum load power, refers to the maximum input power that the speaker can withstand when working continuously for a long time.

Instantaneous power, also called instantaneous power, refers to the maximum power that the speaker can withstand in a short period of time (10ms), typically 8 to 30 times the rated power.
