What Is the High Pass Filter (HPF)?

- Oct 24, 2018-

High pass filter (HPF): In the audio system, sometimes some very low frequency infrasonic signals are mixed in the full audio signal. These subsonic signals are invisible to the human ear, but this signal enters the speaker and will cause the woofer to generate self-excitation and cause damage to the horn. All, some amplifiers are equipped with an infrasonic cancellation filter, and some are set on the rear panel to cut off the unnecessary frequency below 30 Hz or 40 Hz when needed to protect the safety of the speakers.
