What Is Stage Monitor?

- Aug 17, 2018-

The stage monitor is a speaker that is placed in the stage performance area to assist the performer in performing. Stage monitors come in many shapes and styles. The most common one is the wedge-shaped monitor, which is usually placed on the floor of the stage and faces the performer at various angles. Different bands have different requirements, some require a separate listener for each member, and some require a row of listeners in front of the stage. In addition, a type of listener is called the Side fill listener, which is usually mounted on a stand. As the name suggests, this type of monitor is meant to fill the entire stage with sound. There is also a type of monitor called an in-ear monitor, which is a type of earphone that can cover the entire ear. Many drummers choose this type of closed-type headphone monitor because they are playing based on various rhythm tracks.
