What Is Normalization?

- Aug 09, 2018-

Normalization is a type of DSP (Digital Signal Processing) in which the amplitude of the sound signal waveform is amplified as much as possible without distortion, and is used to fully embody the dynamic range of the sound in a computer audio system. Waveform sufficiency does not actually improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the already recorded sound signal, but it ensures that the output circuit's operating state is optimal during sound playback.
