What Is Modulation?

- Jul 02, 2018-

Modulation is a process of adding a signal to be transmitted to a radio wave, and a radio wave for carrying the signal to be transmitted is called a carrier wave. The modulation method can be divided into two categories: continuous wave modulation and pulse wave modulation. The former uses audio signals to control the amplitude, frequency or phase of the carrier. Therefore, there are three methods of amplitude modulation, frequency modulation and phase modulation; pulse wave modulation is audio first. The signal is used to control the amplitude, width and position of the pulse wave sequence, and then the carrier is modulated with the modulated pulse.
