What Is Manchester Encoding?

- Aug 13, 2018-

The Manchester encoding divides a symbol into two equal intervals. The previous interval is low and the interval is high to indicate symbol 1, and symbol 0 is just the opposite. The opposite rule can also be used. The feature of this code is that a level jump occurs in the middle of each symbol. The jump in the middle of the bit is used as both a clock signal (which can be used for synchronization) and a data signal, but its bandwidth is twice the original baseband width.
