What Is Environmental Audio?

- Aug 02, 2018-

The environmental audio mainly refers to the processing of sound through a digital sound processor, so that the sound sounds with different spatial characteristics, such as a hall, an opera house, a theater, a cave, a stadium, and the like. The environmental audio is mainly through environmental filtering, environmental shifting, environmental reflection, environmental transition, etc., so that the listener feels like being in different environments. This kind of sound processing is very common in computer sound cards, and the application of the combination sound is gradually increasing. Environmental audio also have their shortcomings. Some people will feel that the sound is "false" because they will inevitably lose some of the sound information when processing the sound, and there is still a gap between the simulated effect and the real environment.
