What Is BNC?

- Aug 01, 2018-

BNC is a form of coaxial cable connection that is often found in food and digital audio equipment as well as measuring equipment such as oscillators. In audio devices, BNC connections are mostly used to transmit synchronous clock signals between devices. BNC uses a lancet and bayonet type of connection, unlike spiral or in-line. The name of the BNC comes from its connection type (Bayonet) and the inventor Neill Concelman.
