What Is Bit Error Rate?

The bit error rate is one of the performance indicators of digital signal transmission, and refers to the probability value that the symbol is received incorrectly, that is, the ratio of the number of error symbols appearing in the received symbol to the total number of transmitted symbols, and the channel error rate.
