What Is Auxiliary Output?

- Jun 22, 2018-

Auxiliary output is one of the output forms of the mixer. It is generally a mono output. There are two output modes: before attenuation (commonly known as pre-fader) and after attenuation (commonly known as post-fader). Attenuation before auxiliary output is not subject to Road volume potentiometer (fader) control, attenuation after the auxiliary output is controlled by the volume potentiometer (fader). The mixer's auxiliary output is used for most occasions (such as the microphone signal) and can be used for other purposes as needed.
