What Is Amplitude-frequency Characteristic?

- Jun 22, 2018-

The amplitude-frequency characteristic refers to the relationship between the amplitude of the output signal and the frequency. The flatter the amplitude-frequency characteristic curve of the equipment is, indicating that the better the reproducibility is, the higher and lower the two-end frequency when the amplitude of the equipment is usually 3 dB lower than the mid-band amplitude. These are referred to as the upper and lower frequency respectively, and the frequency range between the upper frequency and the lower frequency is called the pass band.
