AIFF: The full name Audio Interchange File Format, which is an audio exchange file format, is a type of digital audio (waveform) data stored in a file format. AIFF supports a variety of bit resolution, sample rate and audio channels. It is a sound file format developed by Apple that is used in personal computers and other electronic audio equipment to store music data. AIFF supports ACE2, ACE8, MAC3 and MAC6 compression and supports 16-bit 44.1KHz stereo and plays it with iTunes.
