What Is Absolute Phase?

- Apr 26, 2019-

Absolute phase, usually, on most microphones, the positive pressure experienced by the diaphragm produces a positive voltage at the output. That is to say, if the polarity of the signal does not change in the transmission path, the positive voltage should be generated at the speaker terminal, and then converted into a positive pressure wave at the listening position through the speaker. The original polarity of this source can be reproduced by the speaker in phase, the so-called "absolute phase".
