What Does Impedance Matching Mean?

- Sep 03, 2018-

A relationship between the output impedance of a piece of equipment and the connected load impedance, so as to avoid a significant impact on the working state of the equipment itself after the load is connected. For the interconnection of electronic equipment, for example, the signal source is connected to the amplifier, and the front stage is connected to the subsequent stage. As long as the input impedance of the latter stage is greater than 5-10 times of the output impedance of the previous stage, the impedance matching is considered good; for the amplifier connection For the speaker, the tube machine should use a speaker that is equal or close to the nominal impedance of the output, and the transistor amplifier does not have this limitation, and can be connected to any impedance speaker.
