The Phantom Power of Sound Console

- Sep 06, 2018-

Most sound consoles have a 48 volt phantom power supply that can be used to push a variety of condenser microphones, but since it is the current that is transmitted from the microphone line, check the microphone line frequently. Ensure that the line is unblocked; otherwise a large current impact sound will be emitted when the line is not in good contact. Another phenomenon is: If you use a conference condenser microphone with a battery in a sound console, don't turn on the phantom power again, otherwise the two will interfere with each other and will emit a rainy "sand" sound. .
