The Function and Structure of Mid-range Speaker

- Nov 12, 2018-

A speaker that mainly plays an intermediate frequency signal is called a midrange speaker. The midrange speaker enables the frequency connection between the woofer and the tweeter to replay music. Because the intermediate frequency occupies the dominant range of the entire range, and the human ear feels more sensitive to the intermediate frequency than other frequency bands, the sound quality of the midrange speaker is higher. There are paper cones, dome shapes and horns. As a midrange speaker, the main performance requirement is that the sound pressure frequency characteristic curve is flat, the distortion is small, and the directivity is good.
