An Optical Recording in A Film Recording

- Oct 11, 2018-

The process of optical recording is to convert the sound picked up by the microphone into a corresponding analog electrical signal, which is then amplified by an audio amplifier to a level sufficient for the optical-electrical amplitude modulator to function to form a recordable analog optical signal. The optical-electrical amplitude modulator is a key component of optical recording. It converts the analog electrical signal of the sound into an analog optical signal of the sound, and records the sound by using different characteristics of the film to different exposures. After the developed, fixed, and processed film is recorded, optical vocal cords having different densities or different sensitivities can be displayed. Compared with mechanical recording, the advantage of optical recording is that it records a wide range of sounds; it is used as a photographic material for film photography, and can be printed on the copy together with the picture, which reduces the production cost, to ensure the sound quality, and to synchronize the sound and picture during the show.
